Just got back from a kids Christmas pageant. A local restaurant had little cards made up for a free kids meal. No strings attached, just the free meal. It was in a little envelope and presented to us by an elf.
What are the chances they get back at least half of those with parents paying for their meals (and having a glass of wine)? Wonder if the owners know they just
gave away about $1.00 in food costs to bring in a family that will spend $30 or more.

Get 'em in folks. It's about share of wallet at this point. Profitability will come back, but you need volume.
